After acknowledging and apologizing for the controversy wrought when Lightroom 6.2/2015.2 was released, Adobe promised to revert to the prior import experience with a new update.  Today, Adobe released update 6.3 / 2015.3 for both stand-alone and Creative Cloud versions of Lightroom with the original import style as well as bug fixes and new camera and lens profiles.

Some of the bugs fixed include one that prevented edits made with 3rd party plugins not appear in the Develop Module.

Included with the release is support for the Leica SL, Canon EOS M10, Fujifilm X-T1 R and Sony RX1R II. Tether support for recent Canon cameras was also added.

See the release notes here you can also download the update there or from Creative Cloud.
