I’ve always been fascinated by X-Ray photography, and thanks to a generous donation from my physician-friend, Charlie Curry, I now have access to a small body of botanical X-Rays. The wheels have been spinning in my mind to come up with creative ways to use the photos. This image represents my first attempt. By blending a photo of polychromatic powders with the roses, I was able to produce “imagination flowers,” like something I might encounter only in a sweet dream.
