Life’s happy accidents occasionally redirect your creativity in a direction that you can’t anticipate. I stumbled across today’s featured effect entirely by accident. While preparing to refine the mask of an antique typewriter, I inadvertently chose Select>Color Range instead of Select>Refine Mask. The resulting image was completely unexpected, yet it was an ideal presentation of the vintage subject matter. The antique grunge effect ignited my imagination and inspired me to record a tutorial showing how to create this look.
