One of my favorite Adobe teachers is Julieanne Kost. She is no-nonsense, clear and precise. She takes every aspect of Lightroom and Photoshop and just breaks it down into easily understandable pieces. When I first started learning these programs, I took the time to go through her series on them, and it made a huge difference in the amount of issues I had. I knew from Day 1 how the system in Lightroom worked for importing images, and exporting, and that has saved me a lot of grief over the past couple of years. This particular tutorial that I want to share, is not how things work, but rather her thought process in producing a piece of art. I really enjoy seeing how other artists think as they go through the process, and at the same time, she teaches some great techniques as well.  Enjoy!

About The Author

Digital Artist & Photographer

Hi! I'm Kathy Newman, photographer and sole proprieter of KCNewman Photography, here in the amazing Antelope Valley. I love taking pictures. It is what I do. My camera goes with me everywhere. Beautiful sunrises, details of a flower, my lovely daughter...big or small, whatever captures my fancy, I capture it on my camera. I hope that you are inspired and blessed by the pictures as well, and want to have them in your home or business to add character and beauty to your world. I am also available for engagement, senior, newborn, family portraits, and especially weddings (I love weddings!), both in the Antelope Valley and beyond. I would love to work with you to preserve your memories. I consult closely with you to achieve exactly the photos you will cherish for a lifetime.
