Tutorial Tuesday is here!

Photographing portraits is all about the eyes – Are the eyes in focus? Are there catchlights? They reveal so much about a subject. Even wildlife photography focuses on the eyes. So…how can we make them even better in post-production? One of the best tutorials I have read on this is by Dani Diamond at fstoppers.com. It truly changed and enhanced the way I was retouching eyes. Take the time to read this tutorial, if you have not seen it already. It is well worth the time spent!

Hi! I'm Kathy Newman, photographer and sole proprieter of KCNewman Photography, here in the amazing Antelope Valley. I love taking pictures. It is what I do. My camera goes with me everywhere. Beautiful sunrises, details of a flower, my lovely daughter...big or small, whatever captures my fancy, I capture it on my camera. I hope that you are inspired and blessed by the pictures as well, and want to have them in your home or business to add character and beauty to your world. I am also available for engagement, senior, newborn, family portraits, and especially weddings (I love weddings!), both in the Antelope Valley and beyond. I would love to work with you to preserve your memories. I consult closely with you to achieve exactly the photos you will cherish for a lifetime.
